Eligibility Requirements
You must be 21 or older
by conference time
+
You must be racially Black
International applicants are eligible
+
You must work in a licensed studio
during application & attendance
+
You've never received the BPP scholarship previously
Scholarship alumni are not eligible
+
You must make your own travel arrangements to & from conference
You will receive a partial travel reimbursement stipend
Donation Overview
To send 4 piercers, we must raise:
5 Day Conference Pass........ $550 x 4
6 Night Hotel Stay................. $500 x 4
Travel Stipend......................... $300 x 4
Food Stipend.......................... $100 x 4
$1,450/per person = $5,800 Total

APP Legacy Scholarship
This scholarship is facilitated by the APP! This includes a full conference pass, lodging and mandatory volunteer shifts. It does not include travel.

Piercers of Color Scholarship
This scholarship is community funded and facilitated by Vanessa Aguilar & ViVi Madero. This includes a full conference pass, lodging and partial travel reimbursement.
Available to BIPOC piercers and front of house only

Piercer Babes Scholarship
This scholarship is facilitated by Courtney Rose and The Real Piercer Babes Facebook group. It is open to women, nonbinary, gay, lesbian and trans piercers and apprentices.

Front of House Scholarship
This Scholarship is facilitated by Lynn Loheide. It includes a full conference pass. It does not include lodging or travel. Lynn can help arrange room shares and courses.
Available to FoH working in studios only

Michaela Grey Scholarship
This Scholarship is facilitated by Bridget Celeste, in honor of the founder of the APP, Michaela Grey. This includes a conference pass and lodging. It does not include travel.
Available to women and gender non-conforming piercers only
